Small Goals

Back in 2010 when our gym was growing pretty quickly and it was decided that we needed more white boards around the facility, for what at that point we were not sure, but they were necessary. Upon hanging them it dawned upon Alec and I at the time that a goal board would make sense, so once the white board was hung I scribbled a rather insignificant goal for myself, “2 Consecutive HSPU.” Something I wasn’t far from doing at the time. Only a week later I was able to cross that goal off the board and set another. Then it dawned on me: goals don’t need to be lofty, swing-for-the-fences endeavors. Sometimes small goals are highly empowering. So we’re bringing it back.

In the hallway by the bathroom is the new Small Goals board. Scribe a goal on there that you can accomplish by the end of the month. They must be measurable and attainable. You’ll be surprised what you can achieve in 30 days when you make it public and achievable.


Next Level Invitational

Pink Bra Tour
The Barbells for Boobs team have been throwing Amazing Grace events for 3 years now. Last year they embarked in a cross country tour, stopping at CrossFit gyms all over the map to promote their message of breast cancer awareness. This year CrossFit Costa Mesa is honored to be picked as the official tour stop in Orange County. We’re kicking the tour off at our gym and we need your support!
