This workout resembles a WOD that probably kick started your workout career here at CFCM, “Jackie.” Only this time around you’re starting from the bottom and working your way backwards. The power output on 10 muscle-ups is about double what it would take to hit 30 pull-ups, similarly the push press is heavier with double the reps.

This weekend is the Los Angeles Fitness Expo, a celebration of the best and worst in the fitness business. In the ‘best’ column is an opportunity to support our boy Griff as he throws down CFCM style in a CrossFit competition created exclusively for kids, AKA “The Gauntlet”. We have a handful of handbills in the lobby of the gym that double as a $5 off coupon for the event. The expo runs Saturday and Sunday, 9:30-6:30 and 10:00-5, respectively.
