Share this with someone. Bob is truly one of America’s favorite trainers. Also, if you’re ever in Hollywood make a point to catch a workout at Brick CrossFit, it’s an amazing gym.

Workout of the Day

Run: 1 Mile
Power Clean: 1-1-1-1-1
Run: 1 Mile

Session Notes
There was a lot of second mile attempts today faster than the first. A novelty? Maybe. Suprising? No.

You’re capable of more than you realize.

One of the truly remarkable byproducts of the way we train is how we condition the body to recover from a bout of effort. Interval training, coupled with a good strength and power program will create a truly remarkable fitness platform. Realize that this phenomenon isn’t just useful in the gym, this will pay dividends in the real world, too. I never get tired of hearing people say that they are the least fatigued on the chairlift each winter, or that a full day of surfing no longer wipes them out.

CrossFit is not always about preparing for more CrossFit, most of the real benefit is the improvement in the quality of life you lead. Train hard, get out of the gym and reap the benefits.
