There are few people who have put in as much hard work in our gym than Joe, and it shows. Not only is celebrating his 3 year anniversary with CrossFit Costa Mesa this weekend, he’s also turning 40. Here’s to another 3 years of health and wellness, Joe.

Who cares about today’s workout. Let’s talk about Joe Villacorta.
At the back end of the fitness bell curve are those athletes who stand the test of time, those who spend the hours in the gym year after year; Energizer bunnies never stop.
These people — whether they play sport, or just workout — reap the lifelong benefit of not just an improved physical capacity, but the ability to say they’ve stuck with it when it got hard, when the work was difficult, when they didn’t feel like it. Their minds grew as fast, or faster, than their muscles.
Joe Villacorta is the mental and physical embodiment of this athlete. We’re happy and lucky to have him a part of our small group.
Happy birthday, Joe.
