Pink Bra Tour: Amazing Grace
FUNDRAISING GOAL: $8000.00
TEAM FUNDRAISING URL: http://bit.ly/PPeboj
DATE: September 28th, 2012
TIME: 7pm to 9pm
The Barbells for Boobs team have been throwing Amazing Grace events for 3 years now. Last year they embarked in a cross country tour, stopping at CrossFit gyms all over the map to promote their message of breast cancer awareness. This year CrossFit Costa Mesa is honored to be picked as the official tour stop in Orange County. We’re kicking the tour off at our gym and we need your support!
How You Get Involved
Everyone who participates has the opportunity to fundraise. Simply set up a fundraising page, set a goal, call everyone you know to help you get there and when the evening of the 28th comes around show up and throw down on Grace with us at the gym.
Quick Motivational Note
$80 raised will provide a mammogram for one man or woman, just $80! So set your goal thinking about the number of people you’re going to help. Also know that you’re not going to get one of their amazing shirts without a minimum of $80 raised. So get on it!
Friday Night Lights
The event we are throwing at our gym will be a traditional Amazing Grace event, meaning we are going to all complete the CrossFit original workout Grace (30 Clean and Jerks for time). You can choose to compete amongst your peers or just show up and participate, your call, no pressure. Either way we are going to structure this like a competition, so there will be heats, there will be loud music, you will work hard, you will have a blast.
Final Plea For Help
Our gym goal is to raise $8,000. Every penny you raise as a member of our event will go to that goal, please help us start this Pink Bra Tour right by far exceeding our goal. Further, we definitely need volunteers to pull this off, as we’re hoping for hundreds to participate. If you’d like to help beyond the goal setting/participation process email Lindsay (lindsay@crossfitcostamesa.com)
