Session Notes
There was a lot of second mile attempts today faster than the first. A novelty? Maybe. Suprising? No.
You’re capable of more than you realize.
One of the truly remarkable byproducts of the way we train is how we condition the body to recover from a bout of effort. Interval training, coupled with a good strength and power program will create a truly remarkable fitness platform. Realize that this phenomenon isn’t just useful in the gym, this will pay dividends in the real world, too. I never get tired of hearing people say that they are the least fatigued on the chairlift each winter, or that a full day of surfing no longer wipes them out.
CrossFit is not always about preparing for more CrossFit, most of the real benefit is the improvement in the quality of life you lead. Train hard, get out of the gym and reap the benefits.

It’s time to bring our seminar series back! We’re going to kick things off with two free Paleo seminars to prepare for our upcoming Paleo Challenge that starts on March 1st. There will also be a registration page for these, we’ll announce their location in the days to come.
It's not every day that you train in the same gym as an NFL player, unless you train at CrossFit Costa Mesa. Big Will Robinson joins us in the AM for a private session with Max. You don't want to workout around him though, he hogs all the weights, as evidenced by his 400+ pound shrugs shown above.
